Prenatal, Postpartum, and Baby & Me Yoga
Welcome! I’m Katie and I believe that yoga is an amazing complement to motherhood to help us be our happiest and healthiest selves. I hold a MA in Teaching and am a RYT, RPYT (Prenatal and Postnatal Specialist), certified Kids' Yoga Instructor, and founder of Seed to Sprout Yoga. I’m also a mama to two mini yoginis. ;)
Katie’s teaching style is warm and welcoming. She is knowledgeable, passionate, and walks the walk. Her prenatal classes have a wonderful flow to them; I always leave not only feeling a sense of community and lightness but also feeling well balanced in my body because she structures the class with the whole body in mind. She understands the pregnant body and mind and is encouraging and heartfelt. Her classes have the perfect amount of challenge in my opinion – enough so that you feel like you’re progressing and learning but not so much that you feel overwhelmed or overly sore in the wrong way the next day. I always feel supported by her, and I always learn a new way of stretching or moving that helps me with some pregnancy discomfort – whether it’s opening the front body or moving more into my hips. I highly recommend taking classes with Katie!

I had my first prenatal yoga class last Saturday, and it was an amazing experience!
The teacher was great and so were the other ladies in the class. I really felt comfortable here, she walked you through each step and if you needed something modified she helped you with each move. I can’t wait for next Saturday for the next class.

I really enjoyed mommy and me yoga classes! I love the bonding with my daughter. Building my core this time around was so important to me, with my first daughter I really had bad posture while breastfeeding etc. I have been recommending this to everyone I know and really wish I found it earlier.

Katie’s prenatal yoga classes are nurturing and invigorating. She creates an environment that is supportive and healing, a supportive mama community if you will. Each class is different; she sometimes works with yoga balls, but always with props. She also assesses the energy of the group before doing anything too strenuous and she provides modifications for each pose. I can’t recommend Katie’s prenatal yoga classes enough! She is willing and available to talk to her students after class about particular ailments and provide stretches and resources for them, too. She is truly a gem with great energy to share with her students.
